Build journal · 2024—2026

An open record of what we are building, what we are learning and the visual world taking shape around Hei Dingo.

Foundation

Kiuas gave the first version of Hei Dingo somewhere to be tested in the open: against sharper questions, other founders and the realities of building a company from an ambitious idea.

We entered with a broad view of what could work better in hiring and left with a more disciplined way to investigate it. The accelerator helped us test three possible directions, speak to the people living the problem and learn that speed matters most when it is paired with honest feedback.

Brand chapter

Before Hei Dingo found its final form, Everymen was our first serious attempt to give the talent problem a name, a voice and a product people could respond to.

Building the brand taught us that trust is not a layer added at the end. It lives in the words, the visual system and the promises a product makes. We are deeply grateful to every charity that trusted us, shared its experience and worked alongside us during this chapter. Your openness shaped what we learned, and we carry those lessons with us as Hei Dingo moves in a new direction.

03Pivot into best candidates03

19 NOVEMBER 2025

Product pivot

The turning point came when we stopped trying to improve the whole hiring market and focused on the people it consistently fails to see: exceptional candidates who are already doing great work.

The best builders rarely browse job boards or announce that they are open. That insight reshaped the product around private signals, careful vetting and rare opportunities. Hei Dingo became a discreet intelligence layer where candidates stay in control and serious hiring teams receive signal instead of noise.

Compliance foundation

A private talent network only works if privacy is structural. This chapter was about turning discretion from a promise into a documented, defensible way of operating.

We mapped how candidate information enters the product, why it is needed, who can access it and when it must disappear. Consent, data minimisation and candidate control became product requirements—not legal footnotes. The result is a clearer foundation for building trust on both sides of the network.

05Closing Angel Round05

28 JULY 2026

Round closed

Closing the angel round gave Hei Dingo more than capital. It brought a small group of believers around the table who understand the talent market and the scale of the opportunity ahead.

The round gives us room to deepen the product, grow the private network deliberately and keep the bar for trust exceptionally high. We are entering the next phase with sharper priorities: prove the signal, create exceptional matches and build the infrastructure behind tech’s most important moves.
